Joe Cassidy Art is a small independent business run entirely by one passionate artist. Efforts are always made to deliver your order as smoothly as possible.   • Yes. I offer commissions of various types, ranging from watercolour home or business portraits to fully abstract works in a chosen colour palette. I am also available for limited bespoke works, as well as 1-2-1 urban sketching tuition in pen and watercolour.

    Commissions are undertaken on a limited availability basis. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on any artwork commission in order to cover the artist’s basic time commitment.

  • Yes! Original work available for sale is listed under the ‘Shop’ tab, under ‘Originals’. If you have seen a piece elsewhere which you do not see online please enquire via the contact page.

    I also sell limited edition signed prints.

  • Times vary based on size, medium and detail. I tend to work reasonably fast, some paintings can take up to a week, watercolours tend to be completed in a day or two. This isn’t inclusive of planning time, however. Average I would say is 2-4 days.

    Commissions usually take much longer due to planning, reworking and fitting in around producing work for galleries and exhibitions.

  • My influences include nature, psychedelia, street art, neurodiversity, impressionism, urban life, and contemporary urban expressionism.

    My urban sketching style is partially inspired by the linework of Egon Schiele.

  • Lead time for framed work is 2-3 weeks to allow adequate time for mounting and framing.

    All other physical orders are completed as soon as possible within a 3-7 working day window.

    Occasionally orders may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances, restocking issues or delayed delivery, in which case this will be communicated with the customer.

  • I offer FREE UK DELIVERY on all original artworks. (Tracked delivery)

    Mounted and unmounted prints are delivered via UK Standard Delivery (Tracked) and charged a flat rate of £3.50 per order, £1.45 per item. (£4.95 1 item)

    Please note: Free shipping applies to all reasonable international mainland locations. If your location results in an exceptionally high shipping cost (e.g. remote regions, islands, or difficult-to-access areas), we reserve the right to discuss additional charges before processing your order.
